RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing and maintaining WordPress-based websites, ensuring smooth and efficient functionality
• Implementing custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet client requirements
• Collaborating with the design and marketing team to deliver visually appealing and user-friendly websites
• Optimizing websites for performance, speed, and responsiveness
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues to ensure seamless user experiences
• Staying updated with the latest WordPress trends, best practices, and technologies
• Keeping track of project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met and timely delivery of project milestones
• ​​Ensuring projects are built to meet performance, security, and functional requirements
• Supporting, guiding, and providing assistance to junior members within the WordPress Development team
• Conducting WordPress training with the client when needed

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a WordPress Developer
• Excellent command over WordPress back-end operations
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript; familiarity with jQuery is a plus
• Excellent knowledge of Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
• Deep understanding of RESTful API integration to enhance website functionalities
• Excellent knowledge of popular page builders like Elementor or WPBakery
• Proficiency in the English language for both written and verbal communication
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and development methodologies

ADVANTAGES

• Experience in working with other CMS and e-commerce platforms such as Storyblok, Magento, and WooCommerce
• Familiarity with PHP and MySQL for customized development
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics
• Familiarity with version control system such as Git
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
